One of the toughest things for a contemporary band to do is create music with personality and character. What most bands do is just copy successful recipes or follow suit other talented and already famous bands. On the other hand there are some rare bands that manage to form and shape a pretty personal and unique sound and I have to say THE SIN COMMITTEE is one such band. Coming from the Netherlands this quartet delivers what's called progressive groove metal, for need of a better description, simply because their music is truly progressive with the real sense of the meaning and it's groove metal because it incorporates a wide range of metal genres from metalcore, hardcore and death metal to classic heavy metal. Same goes with the vocals that have a variety and either have a complex clean hue or other times they are death metal growls or even have a full of rage hardcore scent. These guys have managed to combine many different elements and turn all this into a homogeneous and catchy and result that has a very good production to top it all up! Their EP can be downloaded from the band's site, so go on and support them! They surely deserve it!
